WHAT: “On the Road to Better Business.” Secretary Drago invites licensees to meet, offer feedback and share ideas.
WHEN: Wednesday, Nov. 5, 2008, 10:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.

The Department of Business and Professional Regulation is taking its business directly to customers; Secretary Charles W. Drago will be in Ft. Lauderdale on Wednesday, Nov. 5, to meet with licensees and consumers in the area.
“On the Road to Better Business” is designed to bridge the communications gap and bring a piece of government right to the people it serves. As directed by Governor Crist through “Accelerate Florida: Extending Florida's Economic Horizons,” Secretary Drago has been charged with promoting less intrusive, more effective government.
Licensees and citizens are encouraged to schedule a meeting with the Secretary between 10:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 5, by e-mailing communications@dbpr.state.fl.us with the time they would like to meet and their contact information. Meetings will be scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis. Walk-ins are welcome.
